For maths GCSE I have to work out the number of possibilities that a certain number of x's will go into differnt sized grids, I have done this and now have a formula
(4n2 means 4n squared)
Eg: 4n2- 6n + 2
4n2- 12n + 8
4n2 - 18n + 18
4n2 -24 + 32
I now have to put these into one overall formula.
Can anyone help PLEASE!!!
