hi.
does anyone know how i can cut an equilateral triangle into two equilateral triangles of the same area?
iīve tried many ways, but i donīt seem to succeed.
please help.

Do you have any rules for the cutting procedure? The number of cuts? The number of component pieces?

Regardless, if you are in the dissection thing I highly recommend the book Dissections: Plane & Fancy by G. Frederickson. There are at least two examples that answer your quandary.
