#0, finding a mathematical equation between sine and inverse sin Posted by khaled moustafa kamel (Guest) on Jul-31-01 at 07:36 AM coming across a problem in microsoft excel, i was un able to find a function that gave the inverse of sin, o i decided to acquire a method to find an equation to olve such a problem, the equation is y=(3E-07) x to the power4-(2E-05) x to the power 3 + 0.0038 x squared-0.013 x + 57.341 this relation i obtained when i drawed a relation by dividing the angle by it's sin value, so when i substitute x with any number in the equation and the multiply y (the out come) by x, then i will find the inverse sin of the number. i would like to know if this equation i true or not, and if you would like i could send the excel file file containing the data and the graphs please reply to my e-mail if you can khaledkamel@mailcity.com #1, RE: finding a mathematical equation between sine and inverse sin Posted by alexb on Jul-31-01 at 07:38 AM In response to message #0 >coming across a problem in microsoft >excel, i was un able >to find a function that >gave the inverse of sin, > The function is ASIN().
