Hi I have just seen the question asked by fawzan jalajel in April as to why there are 360 degrees in a circle and wonder what was your answer? Regards - Steve Cook

Beside using base 60, the Babylonians used a calendar that had 360 days for a year. As the Earth takes a year to make a revolution (circle) around the sun, 360 degrees was used for a circle.
