please could youy help me to solve a problem which has plagued me and my friends for months.

what is d/dx (x^x)?

it's probably quite easy, but we've not been able to find a solution.

Oh, boy. For months you say. Just give it up - who cares what is it. If I tell you that x = eln(x), will this help?

it's dy/dx = (x^x)(1+lnx) i think.

you've just settled much annoyance
